We offer a variety of classes on kink and BDSM-based dynamics. Our classes are theory-based, and topics include D/s, M/s and much more! You can view our upcoming classes here!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our deep concern for the safety of our communities, we do not currently offer any in-person opportunities. We plan to create hybrid content to promote accessibility, and to reach a global audience. Subscribe to our email newsletter for updates!

Yes. Our classes are for 18+ consenting adults only, and may include content that could be stressful to some attendees. We do our very best to be clear about what may be discussed in a particular class, and encourage attendees to care for own their safety and well being. We do not close our Zoom classes, so attendees are free to leave and re-enter as they wish. Additionally, attendees are not obligated to have their name or scene name listed, or their camera or microphone on at any point during the class.

Content discussed in our classes may include (and is not limited to) depictions of consensual BDSM/kink activity, nudity, and sexual activity. It may also be stressful to those with a history of trauma with sexual assault, domestic violence, violence, war or combat, abuse, self-injurious behavior, weaponry including knives and guns, needles, blood, mental illness, kidnapping, elements of romantic or sexual relations between family/incest, and age play. Please do not hesitate to reach out to SADE Leadership with any questions regarding the content discussed in a class. We are ready and available to be a source of support and/or provide helpful resources to any attendee who may need it.

Our classes are $10 on average, and may vary depending on the presenter. We also offer scholarship tickets at no cost. Just email us at [email protected] prior to class to request one.

Yes! We email them to our class attendees by the end of the week. We also create resources on our blog page, including journal prompts, inspired by our topics.

Attendees are not obligated to respond, and no attendee (without expressed explicit and informed consent, prior to class) will be asked to participate in any portion of the class.

Yes - no matter their accolades. We are committed to promoting the teaching of balanced, ethical, and correct information by presenters who embody safe practices and ethical behavior both in and out of the scene.

Our presenters are leading experts in their respective fields, whom we vet for credibility and integrity. However, given the generality that is needed to teach a class that would be applicable to a diverse audience, instructors may not be able to provide specific information. We encourage attendees to consult with licensed professionals who can better assist with their specific needs when it comes to medical information, legal issues, and other situations that may warrant specialized attention and expertise.

Absolutely! We compensate our instructors for their time and expertise. A portion of the ticket sales are given to the instructor. We also include the instructor's donation links (if available) so that attendees can tip them during and after classes! These will be available in the class notes.

The SADE Ambassador program was created to promote accessibility of inclusive and consent-focused education in local kink spaces. Ambassadors host watch parties and local SADE-promoted events directly in your community!

ADE Ambassadors are members of the worldwide kink community who undergo a thorough application and training process to ensure that they embody SADE's mission, values, and ethical standards when they bring SADE to your local community spaces.

Our organization was founded in Austin, TX in 2000 under the name The School of Austin Advanced D/s Education. We changed our name to The School of Advanced Dynamic Education (SADE) after our ownership change over to Shannon BoBannon to be more inclusive of all dynamic and relationship styles.

We are not a registered 501(c)(3) organization. We are, however, not-for-profit - meaning we are entirely volunteer run and pay our presenters via ticket sales.

No. SADE and its leadership team are entirely volunteer-based. We are funded by ticket sales and donations. Our instructors are compensated from our ticket sales, as are our charitable donations.

We take suggestions from attendees, presenters, and SADE Leadership! We choose charities whose causes we are passionate about. Additionally, we research our charity of choice to ensure ethical standards and that most of the donations collected actually go towards the cause.
