With over 60 years of education experience collectively, our approach incorporates disciplines of psychology, sociology, public health, psychotherapy, and personal coaching to create a systemic view of how consent impacts everyone from the bedroom to the boardroom. We believe consent is a part of everyday life, and its practice builds stronger, safer, and more connected communities.”
The Consent Academy is our biggest inspiration for developing our classes, statements, and values. They offer virtual consent classes on a sliding scale. Additionally, they provide resources for organizations to develop their bylaws and rules with a consent-focus.
In previous years, our organization (under SAADE) took several of their intensives to revamp how the organization handled consent incidents. Though we no longer host parties, we still attend their intensives to better understand consent and how it factors into leadership and our education initiatives.
