FUNdamentals

SADE FUNdamentals category of blogs is an homage to SAADE’s Friday FUNdamentals classes! Previously, SAADE hosted more beginner-level classes on a Friday. This was in addition to its traditional advanced-level classes. The classes would then join the play party.

In 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic, Daragaya removed beginner-level classes under the SAADE name. The Friday FUNdamentals name was used for all SAADE classes until 2021, when it was voted to be changed by SAADE Council. The Council felt that the term “fundamental” implies beginner-level content, and does not accurately represent the classes.

With the leadership and organization change to SADE, the Leadership team feels it’s important to create educational content for all. This includes blog posts with more theoretical and beginner-level content.

We decided to keep the name as a nod to our roots.
